Noluthando - Mother, Bringing of Life
by Elsa Davids

Good morning all, from Out of Africa. My name is Elsa Davids (Noluthando- my african name meaning mother, bringing of life). I will certainly be joining in the meditation. Thank you for sharing the story with us, such confirmation of the absolute unconditional love and guidance of the creator.

Ten years ago I was witness to the murder of my husband during the times of struggle here. To me this signalled the gift of life, and the universe guided me on the most amazing journey. I was born into a family where mom and dad were phenomenal direct voice and trance mediums, through which valuable philosophy was channelled, so I was blessed to take my first breath and steps with a family who lived their spirituallity, and where I was able to witness the manifestations of the beings of knowledge.

My journey finally took me deep into the mountain where I was allowed to visit a inner sanctum, normally out of bounds to the public, and there in the crystal clustered space, the voice told me that it was the engine room of it all, the ribbon of crystal within the mountains, being the receiver and transmitter, and that I was to bring the light out of the darkness. From there I embarked on a journey on foot of 400km and 17 days, during which time I was in communion with a beautiful energy which facillitated my healing from the trauma of my husbands death. This journey was so meaningfull and life changing, that I now take groups out into the Karoo, an arrid part of our country, which has the purest energy, devoid of pollution , where they walk for 7 days and reconnect with the reallness and magnificence of the self. Where they are sensitive to the ancient wisdom which reverberates from the mountains, and the vastness of the place enables them to expand their mind and soul into the unlimittness which assists in redifining their magnificence.

My role is just to hold a space. Each time that I am out there on the trail, I am moved as I see spirit in action as nature and mother earth holds and nurtures those folk from cities, where to a large extent they have distanced themselves from the bigness in the smallness of life. How blessed we are to be connected to the rhythms of the great mother as we feel her pulse through the soles of our feet as we leave our footprints in the dust.

Spirit presented me with a gift beyond my wildest dreams by enabling me to realise that I am not separate, but in actual fact part and parcel of each aspect of life. I am as magnificent as the mountains, as gentle as a meandering stream, and as wise as the first people who dwelt here and left a legacy of their beautiful stories in the form of art on rock walls.

Because of the wonder and realness of life I am all that.

May you all be blessed in the work that you do.
ASANTE SANA NAMASTE NOLUTHANDO.

About the Author

My name is Elsa Davids. I was born in Oudtshoorn in RSA, the Ostrich capital of the world, and am 63 years of age. My passion is in sharing my experiences that life, the great Mother Earth and Mamma Africa have in turn shared with me. I was blessed with two wonderful African Mentors, namely the late Dr. Drake Koka, who blessed me with the name Noluthando, and Sanusi Credo Mutwa. Both these prophets have been an inspiration in my life, and through their urgings to re-introduce our people and those from around the world to our ancient Mamma Africa, I hold a safe space wherein ceremonies and stories of the first people, (bushmen) allowing them to connect with the ancient wisdom cast in clay as they walk the byways of the Karoo.. My journey has taken me into Kenya and to the summit of the Mother Mountain, Kilimanjaro. Africa fills my very being with her sacredness and I am humbled by her magnificence. God blessed me with life, and the sensitivity to be present each moment.
